About Us

In 2019, shortly after leaving my full-time job, I launched Kit ’n Pup Care. I wanted the flexibility to spend more time with my grandkids, so I stepped away from the corporate world and opened my home to local furry friends—giving them a fun, safe place to stay while their families are away.

As a lifelong dog owner and animal lover, I’m experienced in administering medications and have successfully crate-trained and potty-trained many dogs. I also cared for our Weimaraner for 14 years, making accommodations for her arthritis in her later years. And of course, I love our feline friends too—some of our cat guests have required daily insulin injections and IV fluids, which I am comfortable administering.

When your pets are in my care, they will be loved and closely attended to. My flexible schedule allows me to give them the time, attention, and care they need.

Unlike traditional boarding facilities, our PAWsome guests aren’t kept in crates. Instead, they enjoy a warm, friendly home environment—without the stress of constant barking. Even better, unlike most boarding facilities, someone is there overnight, so they are safe and well cared for.

You can relax knowing your fur-babies are receiving attentive, loving attention during their stay. We keep our rates competitive and fair for the level of service provided.

For everyone’s safety, we require proof of current vaccinations and flea/tick treatment for each stay.

We offer in-home boarding for both cats and dogs in a safe, comfortable setting. Your pet will have access to a large, pet-friendly home and a fully fenced yard with plenty of space to play and relax.

Flexible drop-off and pick-up times are available to fit your schedule. For shorter stays, we also offer full- and partial-day daycare options—perfect for busy days or when your pet just needs a place to spend time.

We also keep you connected while you’re away by sending regular updates, including photos and videos, so you can see how much your pup or kitty is enjoying their stay.
